- Feel the breeze roll right down through the vines, over the patio, and towards Consecon Lake at Terra Estate Winery – a secluded gem!
- Adega Wine Bar, next to The Grist Mill in Consecon, overlooks the Consecon Mill Pond and dam, a beautiful location for a Spanish or charcuterie snack board and a glass of wine from their extensive list.
- Patio + poutine at Tabersnack at the edge of Consecon – how could you go wrong?Â
- Stratos Pizzeria and Mediterranean Grill has a new patio for your outdoor dining pleasure. Excellent pizza and Greek food on offer.
- The whole family is welcome on the patio (and adjacent playground and orchard) at Campbell’s Orchards where you can crack a can of Apple Falls Cider.
- Drink in the view, and great wine, from the patio at Redtail Vineyards – an off-grid sweet spot just south of Consecon. Â
- Hillier Creek Estates has a patio off its reconstructed Loyalist barn, surrounded by long rows of lush mature vineyards. Taste their pinot noir, gamay, chardonnay, riesling, vidal or rose wines while eating wood-fired pizza.
- Snack on local cheese curds while you enjoy the scenery and serenity from the space carved out from the re-wilded field at Stanners Vineyards, where pinot is available by the glass.

- If you’re looking for a rustic country setting, the patio at The Grange of Prince Edward is the ticket.
- Loch Mor Cider Company offers al fresco tables and chairs with a view of their orchard. It’s particularly stunning when the trees are in bloom.
- The big purple barn and its patio at Closson Chase leads onto a garden perfect for enjoying the weather. Or sample wine by the glass on their aptly named patio ‘Au Verre.‘
- Karlo Estates serves wine by the glass, “cheese” boards and other wine bar nibbles. Guests can also walk with a glass of wine through the vineyards to visit the dry stone bridge, an ideal picnic spot.
- Norman Hardie Winery serves up ‘za on the patio overlooking the vines.
- Trail Estate Winery has a stone slab, sunshade and picnic tables outside its modern tasting room, overlooking its vineyard. Reservations are required.
- Sip and soak up the view on the wrap-around porch at Lacey Estates Winery along Closson Road.

- Midtown Brewing Company doubles in size in the summer, with patio tables outside the restaurant, perfect for people watching.

- The Drake Devonshire is one of the few places where you can be right on the lake. The patio sits right on the beach, and the breeze off the lake has never felt so good.

- Prince Eddy’s Brewing Company not only has a patio, they’ve got a concert stage and beach volleyball court. Go to see and be seen.
- Angry Bird’s is a rotisserie chicken joint opposite Crystal Palace and its patio is a popular spot with families who have just left the playground across the street.

- Parsons Brewing Company has a breezy patio that looks out onto their mammoth play yard, making it the perfect place to sample the food and sip a flight of handcrafted brews while the kids run wild.
- The View is another hidden gem, nestled within the Picton Golf Course. They’re open to the public daily for breakfast, lunch or dinner, with a panoramic view of Picton Bay.
- Prince Edward County Yacht Club has a patio on the water – what else would you expect? Have a sundowner while watching the boats bob in Picton harbour.
- View Picton Harbour from a different angle while having a meal and a beverage on the patio at the Picton Harbour Inn.
- Even if you weren’t able to snag a room, there’s still a chance to drink #roséallday like a veritable Instagram star on The June’s patio or in the Bohemian garden.
- The patio at Isaiah Tubbs Resort overlooks the water, and with its sky-high windows, even diners who are inside can feel like they’re on the lake.
- On your way into Sandbanks Provincial Park? Stop in at the Sand & Pearl Oyster Bar for oysters and craft beer and a patio that comes complete with netting to keep the bugs away.

- Three Dog Winery defines laid back, with Adirondack chairs, live tunes, and wood-fired pizzas topped with tomatoes and basil straight from their garden.
- There’s a burger with your name on it at The Milford’s outdoor burger bar, freshly decked out for this season.
- The patio at the Waupoos Market, Pub & Eatery gets you just close enough to feel the breeze off the lake, on a shaded patio where you can enjoy fresh fish sandwiches, burgers, wings and local beers and wine — and stock up on Cressy mustard too. The deep-friend pickles are the best! On site this summer, Harry’s Charbroiled, a pop-up food truck from the folks behind the Parkdale location.
- Clafeld Cider House & Market has a patio where visitors can enjoy picnic items from inside the market.

- County Cider Company has arguably the best patio view in The County – their dog-friendly space has a pizza oven and makes you feel like you’re perched in among the vines looking out onto Lake Ontario.
- The patio at the Waupoos Estate Winery is an under-rated gem. The restaurant sits amongst the vines, with a killer view of Lake Ontario. Or have a relaxed drink at the barn board bar – try wine, cider or local craft beer, they even let you take your drink down to the dock.
- Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Co. has an airy patio space to the side of its modern facility where cheeses can be nibbled on a warm day.

- Cape Vineyards has a shady stone patio surrounded by green, with views of the vineyards, Lake Ontario, and their very adorable sheep. Well worth the drive!
