An advance booking system is in place for day use at Sandbanks and North Beach Provincial Parks. Visitors should not head to these Provincial Parks without an advance reservation which can be made online or by phone up to 5 days in advance. More info here. During the busy summer season The County posts updates on beach capacity here.

Sandbanks offers more than 620 campsites in six campground areas: Outlet River A & B and Cedars campgrounds are on the East Lake side of the park, Richardson and the new West Lake campground are on the West Lake side of the park, and Woodlands campground is located in the middle of the park between East and West Lake. Campsites in these campgrounds accommodate equipment ranging from tents only to large trailers. Amenities such as water taps, comfort stations and laundry facilities are close by. Over 260 campsites offer electricity.

We also offer 2 roofed accommodations, Jacques Cottage – a quaint 1.5 story cottage right on the shores of Lake Ontario which sleeps up to 6 and the majestic Maplerest Heritage House a short walk to the Dunes Beach and the infamous sand dunes. Nearby to park trails, beaches and day-use facilities, this four bedroom Victorian Home is furnished with antiques and sleeps up to 8 people. Equipped with everything you need for a luxurious Sandbanks vacation.

Both are available year round.

If planning a day at the beach, please book a day use permit. These can be reserved up to five days in advance of your visit and will guarantee entry.
