“A Path Forward” Exhibit Soft Launch
Join us on September 30th from 10am-4pm for a soft Launch of a new exhibit “A Path Forward” at Macaulay Heritage Park.
“A Path Forward” is a permanent and evolving exhibit co-curated by the Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na, the Downie Wenjack Fund and The County Museums that explores Truth & Reconciliation in the County through a historical narrative & Indigenous works of art and story that create a space for reflection, education and guidance on our path forward together.
Enjoy light refreshments and chat with some of the Artists who will be on site throughout the day to talk about their work. Tom Wilson’s “Faded Memories of Home” an art Installation that explores the systemic erasure of Indigenous culture in residential schools will also be on display as part of the exhibit.
Admission is free, donations to “A Path Forward” or the DWF are greatly appreciated.
