Cookery School Classes – with Chef David Correa at Waring House
Learn by Experience! The Waring House recreational cooking classes are suitable for all levels of cooking expertise. Expand your culinary repertoire, and learn new skills and chef techniques. These classes are perfect for groups of up to 10 guests!
Each class features a particular culinary subject, food type, region, ingredient, or theme. Many of our classes feature fresh, local ingredients — some were picked that day at farms just down the road from the cookery school, or from our Waring House garden.
Classes are offered on Thursday evenings at 5:30pm or Sunday mornings at 10:30am

Thursday, July 27th at 5:30 pm or Sunday, July 30th at 10:30 am – Campania, Italy – This region of Italy is famous for its Mediterranean cuisine. The cuisine is fresh with seasonal ingredients often seasoned with an abundance of olive oil and vegetables.
Thursday, August 3rd at 5:30 pm or Sunday, August 6th at 10:30 am – Bounty in the County III – Working with Prinzen’s local chicken – you will produce a dinner which is County from start to finish – including produce from our own gardens.
Thursday, August 10th at 5:30 pm or Sunday, August 13th at 10:30 am – N’Orlans Here We Come! – One of Chef Davis’s favourite destinations – New Orleans offers an endless variety of tasting experiences.
Thursday, August 17th at 5:30 pm – Vegan Cooking with Chef Chris Byrne – Expert vegan Chef Chris Byrne will guide you throw a foraged plant based meal that is guaranteed to be delicious!
Sunday, August 20th at 10:30 am – N’Orlans Here We Come! – Chef David Correa will explore a popular theme once again…

Thursday, August 31st at 5:30 pm or Sunday, September 3rd at 10:30 am – Chill Out in Chile – Explore the cuisine of Chile as Chef David guides you through some authentic dishes.
Thursday, September 7th at 5:30 pm or Sunday, September 10th at 10:30 am – Bounty in the County 6 – Check out the late Summer gardens with County produced pork – Think blueberries, apples and fresh vegetables.
Thursday, September 14th at 5:30 pm or Sunday, September 17th at 10:30 am – Parisian Bistro – Enjoy the comforts of French cuisine.
Thursday, September 21st at 5:30 pm or Sunday, September 24th at 10:30 am – Cooking with Wine – As we move into grape harvest – Chef David Correa will present a wine & food pairing dinner.
Thursday, September 28th at 5:30 pm or Sunday, October 1st at 10:30 am – Dinner in Portugal – Chef David will guide you through creating a meal that will make you think you’re dining in Lisbon.
