Family Art Brunch
Looking for a unique brunch idea for the family or the grandkids? Join us every Sunday for an Italian-inspired meal while working on your painting skills.
Under the gentle guidance of a professional artist and with the aid of fun prompts, watch as a unique and beautiful abstract painting emerges from your creative play, each person’s brushstrokes contributing to the whole. Guests will find a table with their group and sit down. At the end of each table will be an easel and a 12×16 canvas with paint, water and brushes already laid out. In the middle of the table will be a deck of cards, dice and an hourglass timer. There will also be paper and drawing tools (for players who want to sketch between turns). Enjoy coffee and a pastries (juice for the kids) as you work and wait for the fresh pizza and panini options, which are served by Chef Felice as we finish up our art-making session. Don’t forget to bring your masterpiece home at the end of the fun!
About Michelle & Felice
Michelle and Felice met by chance one magical night in Florence, Italy and have been inseparable ever since. Born in Canada, Michelle moved to Italy to study art and worked as a print and pattern designer after graduating from OCAD with a BFA. Felice was born in Calabria, a province in southern Italy known for its beautiful beaches and delicious food. For many years he managed his family’s luggage and handbag shop. Five years ago, they decided to leave the warmth of Italy to find new opportunities in Canada, bringing just 4 suitcases and 1 and a half children. Since then, Felice has turned his passion for food into a new career and Michelle has found new ways to share her creativity with more people. Their two children, Sofia and Ada, make adorable assistants.
